Leaving on a jet plane..hmm…car?

Not one to sit still – I’m leaving this afternoon for Flagstaff, Arizona.

Why? ‘cause that’s where all the cool people are going – ok, maybe not ALL the cool folks (a wink to all you readers)…  I am going to the 2007 Vineyard National Missions Conference being held outside Flagstaff.  Yelp – a mission conference.   Cool

It is going to be a great week meeting and talking to all kinds of missions minded folks within the Vineyard movement. I will also have the chance to attend several workshops dealing with various mission topics. One of the classes will be dealing with setting up and running Partnerships (ie. two or more Vineyard churches working together to reach a certain country).  Learning about Partnerships is one of the main reasons I’m going to the conference as I’m starting to take a bigger role in the Paraguay Partnership.

Along the way to Flagstaff, I’m stopping by Zion National Park to do a two and half backpacking trip. Yelp – I’m nuts – very happily so.  Tongue out

This is going to mark the end of a six dream – to hike Zion National Park. You see, Emily, Cary and I drove through Zion almost six years ago on our 3k mile trip arcoss the US. We took a short hiking trip into the mountains that lasted about 2.5 hours… not near enough time. Every since then I have been wanting to go back…  This weekend is that chance…

If you think about it, drop a pray into the heaven for me – I'm doing all this by my self and it's going to be a long drive…. Undecided

I’ll try to take lots of pictures for everyone… God bless.
